Bill Niman and "Peeps"

With Easter fast approaching our attention turns to those wonderful marshmallow confections, Peeps! Quite a cult following have these little edible duckies!

Niman Ranch started its business nearly thirty years ago in Marin County, just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. They still raise cattle on the original ranch, but have expanded to sell pork and lamb, too. They work with over 500 independent family farmers who raise livestock for us, according to our strict protocols. "Rock Star Rancher" Bill Niman joins The Guys to talk about his ranch, his approach to raising livestock and his new Niman Ranch Cookbook This book is a great source for understanding cuts of meat and features recipes from such celebrity chefs as Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Ming Tsai and Mario Batali to name just a few.

The Restaurant Guys

Who Are The Restaurant Guys? Every week, Francis Schott and Mark Pascal host the Restaurant Guys, a show that's as informative as it is fun. Francis and Mark own Stage Left Restaurant in the heart of New Brunswick's theatre district, and, along with their expertise in a wide range of fine dining and wine matters, they bring to the table humor and intelligent conversation, perfect for the midday listener. The show includes discussions and interviews with famous chefs, restaurateurs, wine and food writers, critics; and the Guys even give stuff away occasionally.
