Peter Hoffman and Jessica Prentice

Peter has had a great influence on our own restaurants. He was an early proponent of seasonally driven, local-market-driven cuisine. He has served in the governance of The Union Square greenmarket in NYC for years. His restaurant, Savoy in New York City, is casual and intelligent with wine and food brought together to educate as well as delight. He joins The Guys today to talk about "pawpaws" a rare tropical like fruit native to the Mid Alantic region of the U.S. and his upcoming dinner with Jessica Prentice who tracks seasonal cooking with the lunar cycle.

The Restaurant Guys

Who Are The Restaurant Guys? Every week, Francis Schott and Mark Pascal host the Restaurant Guys, a show that's as informative as it is fun. Francis and Mark own Stage Left Restaurant in the heart of New Brunswick's theatre district, and, along with their expertise in a wide range of fine dining and wine matters, they bring to the table humor and intelligent conversation, perfect for the midday listener. The show includes discussions and interviews with famous chefs, restaurateurs, wine and food writers, critics; and the Guys even give stuff away occasionally.
