Adam Seger

Adam Seger is the General Manager and Sommelier of Chicago's Nuevo Latino restaurant, Nacional 27. He's a leader in a new movement of mixology that is bridging the gap between the bar and the kitchen. He is called the "Charlie Trotter of Cocktails" using culinary instinct to perfect his provocative beverages. The graduate of Cornell University's school of Hotel Administration is a Certified Culinary Professional who passed the Advanced Exam of the Court of Master Sommeliers on his first attempt. Dubbed a "Beverage Guru" by Wine & Spirits and a "Spirits Guru" by Food & Wine and Fast Company, he has been featured in numerous publications and television programs including a regular feature on Fox News in the Morning in Louisville. He was named one of the '"Top 20 Bartenders in the World" by Bols, The Amsterdam based spirits company founded in 1575. He is the co-founder of Chicago Blind Tasters, a group comprised of sommeliers from TRU, Charlie Trotter's, and NoMi whose primary goal is to help prepare each other for Master Sommelier accreditation.
