Dorothy Hamilton

Dorothy Hamilton is the founder and CEO of the French Culinary Institute. She is the recently appointed chairwoman of board for the James Beard Foundation, chairwoman emeritus for life of the American Institute of Wine and Food, and the recipient of numerous accolades and tributes in the field of gastronomy. Most recently, she has acted as the host of Chef's Story, a 26-part show focused on the careers of 27 master chefs. The show integrates interview segments with cooking sequences and is slated to air this spring, alongside the release of a companion book of the same title, edited by Hamilton and Patrick Kuh. The book includes autobiographical writing by the chefs spotlighted on the show.
