Margaret M. Wittenberg

Margaret M. Wittenberg is an acclaimed authority on natural and organic foods and environmental sustainability. She is VP of Communications and Quality Standards for Whole Foods Market Inc., the nation's largest chain of natural food supermarkets, where she has worked since 1981. Wittenberg is a former member of the USDA National Organic Standards Board and currently serves on the Marine Stewardship Council's Board of Trustees and chairs the Animal Compassion Foundation. An avid cook, Wittenberg lives in Fredericksburg, Texas.
