Michael Ruhlman is a freelance journalist who authors a popular blog and whose work has appeared in the New York Times. Ruhlman has co-authored several cookbooks with some of the country's leading chefs and recently published a book entitled "The Elements of Cooking: Translating the Chef's Craft for Every Kitchen". In addition to writing about food and the work of a professional chef, he has appeared as a judge on The Food Network's Next Iron Chef and Cooking Under Fire (WGBH Boston).
